About Cascading Cove Sand & Water Table
Separated by a molded-in roadway, the two-sided activity table features both a sand and water side for tons of sensory play! Kids can sail boats and splash in the water, make sand castles in the sand, and race cars across the bridge roadways all under the shade of the included umbrella. The outdoor activity table’s lid can also be used as another play surface with its molded-in roadway design. When playtime fun is done, clean-up is easy with drain plugs in both sides. And, the lid’s elastic tie-downs secure it to the table, keeping out potential critters and providing covered toy storage. Made in USA.

Language + Social Skills
Role playing requires kids to engage in story telling as they make up scenarios, and communicate with others what role they are playing. Any new toy also expands a child’s vocabulary – learning new verbs like “push” and “shop”, or nouns like “basket” and “cart”.
Physical + Motor Skills
Pretend play is great for motor skill development as kids use small accessories just like mom and dad do. Gripping a handle, grabbing a toy and then dropping it help develop hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
Sensory Exploration
Sand and water play introduce kids to new textures, temperatures, sights and sounds. Actions like splashing engage multiple senses at once, and encourage children to actively use their senses as they explore. With sand and water, every movement presents an opportunity to see, hear, and to feel something new
STEM Learning
Early physics concepts like motion and flowing are present in water play. Water toys with slides, spinners, and funnels are a great way to teach kids about cause and effect. Incorporate learning into play by letting kids make predictions about what will happen when water enters a spinner, or a rubber duck is placed on top of a water slide.
